Choosing Your Wedding Favours

Favours will delight your guests use them to add a special touch to your place setting as a table centrepiece or given to your guests by the bridesmaids or page boys a great idea to give the guests the opportunity to speak to the bridesmaids and page boys. They are the perfect way to decorate the special occasion and thank guests for sharing the joy of your wedding with a lovely keepsake of the day. The oldest favour I've heard about is well over fifty years and still on the dressing table.
Factors to consider when choosing your favours are the style and colours of the favours which need to reflect the style of the wedding and colours used in the brides and bridesmaids dresses, flowers and place settings. A swatch of fabric or piece of ribbon is very helpful to obtain a good colour match.Another consideration is your budget a wide price range from simple classic designs to more elaborate designs is important. Ensure there is no minimum order a small wedding requires a small number of favours.
The possibilities for favours are endless so any ideas may be incorporated into favours making them unique for your wedding.
Packaging is another important consideration the correct packaging customised for your order ensures protection for your favours.
The time scale for organising your favours is important. Decide on colours and style then wait for the replies from your guests, decide if you wish to order favours for ladies only or include the gentlemen and consider the children. A teddy favour for example for a child can be entertaining when they are listening to the speeches! If Great Aunt Louise can Suddenly come from Australia after all then an individual favour can be sent after the main order.
With Many Thanks To Christine at Wedding and Christening Favours for the above article.
