Hen Party Accessories

Hen Party Accessories

Historically we've all witnessed the bride-to-be staggering, usually on ridiculously high heels, from one pub to the next. We knew instantly which of the slightly tiddly ladies was soon to be married, because it was glaringly obvious...the tell tale signs? Namely, a black plastic bin liner adorned with the customary condoms and L-plates.

Thankfully progress has been made!

Someone (obviously a woman) famously once said that "accessories are a girl's best friend".

Hens now find themselves facing a sea (metaphorically speaking) of hen party accessories. Head boppers, devil horns and bunny ears to name a few. It seems that hen party accessories are a big part of the planning process.

Mike Wood, of Freedom hen and stag party planners, confirmed this for us, saying "We've found increasingly over the last 5 years that our Hens like to use accessories to give their group identity and to stand out from the crowd. We offer them discounts at leading suppliers and can provide personalised t-shirts."

Yes, the black plastic bin liner has been put out to pasture and in its place stands a glittering display of accessories to tempt; you really are spoilt for choice.

Whilst some hens go the full mile and opt for complete fancy dress, others show their individuality with pre-printed T-shirts

We've compiled a top ten list, which one wins for your hen night ... you decide ...

T-shirts - personalised to suit your party are perfect for group identity and just ideal if travelling abroad for a hen weekend.

L-Plates - will probably always prove to be a hit.

Angel Wings - could be fallen angels by the end of the night.

Sashes - identifying the key members of the party and easily removed once the novelty has worn off and you want to hit the dance floor.

Head Boppers - the more blingy the better.

Pink Cowboy Hats - seem to be moving up the popularity stakes.

Tiaras and Tutus - very girly, but do the job and your party will stand out from the crowd.

Devils Horns - for the naughtier amongst you.

Masks - yes you really can source masks of the Hen, what an original idea?

Bunny ears - linked to Hens? No we don't get it either, but popular nonetheless.

So there you go, work those accessories girls and without having to spend a fortune!
